How to Help from Afar

One of the most touching aspects of this journey has been seeing how many people want to help—even those who are hundreds or thousands of miles away. We've received so many messages asking “What can we do?” and we're deeply grateful for each one. We know it can feel difficult to help when you're not physically nearby, but there are several meaningful ways you can support our family during this time.

Letters of Love and Support

The most valuable gift you can give us right now is your words. Personal, heartfelt letters to Emily and our daughters (Chloe, Phoebe, and Lydia) mean more than we can express. These messages become little pieces of sunshine on harder days, and our girls especially treasure knowing how many people are thinking of them and their mom.

Practical Support

While we feel somewhat awkward mentioning this (and please know we don't expect anything), we've had many people ask about practical ways to help. One of the most helpful things has been receiving gift cards that give us flexible options for our family, especially on days when cooking feels overwhelming or we need to grab something quick between appointments.
